Clari Copilot alternatives after the Salesloft merger: what changed, and what to do next.

Clari Copilot is now sold as Salesloft Conversation Intelligence. Here’s what actually changed, what to ask before your renewal - and why, if coaching reps is the job, Elanor is the better alternative.

Here’s a pattern I’ve watched play out for a decade: a tool gets built to help reps on the call, it gets good, it gets bought, and then it becomes a feature inside a much bigger platform that exists to run the whole revenue org.

Clari Copilot just completed that cycle. It started life as Wingman. Clari bought it in 2022. Clari merged with Salesloft in December 2025. And on September 2, 2026, the Clari brand was retired and Copilot’s job was handed to a product called Salesloft Conversation Intelligence.

If you’re a Copilot customer, you’ve probably got two questions. What actually changed? And if the reason you bought it was to make your reps better, where should you go now?

I spent about six years inside Gong, nearly every day, and I built Elanor because I watched the same drift happen there. So I’m biased. I’ll also tell you where Salesloft still wins.

IN ONE SENTENCE

Clari Copilot is now sold as Salesloft Conversation Intelligence (as of September 2026), and the best alternative depends on the job: if you bought Copilot to make your reps better at selling, the best Clari Copilot alternative is Elanor Labs, which scores how well reps actually sold on every call and coaches them to it, while Salesloft stays the better fit if you want engagement, forecasting and call recording from one vendor.

What happened to Clari Copilot?

Short answer: the product still exists, the name doesn’t. Here’s the timeline, with sources, as of October 2026.

  1. 2022 - Clari buys Wingman. Wingman becomes Clari Copilot, Clari’s conversation intelligence product (Claap).
  2. August 2025 - Clari and Salesloft announce a merger. The deal closes on December 3, 2025, and Steve Cox is named CEO of the combined company (Business Wire).
  3. December 2025 - the customer FAQ. The company tells customers the merger “does not impact your existing contracts, pricing, or renewal dates,” that there are no current plans for required migrations, and that the long-term vision is “one company, one platform” (Salesloft community).
  4. July 14, 2026 - Salesloft Conversation Intelligence launches. Call summaries, follow-up emails, CRM updates, live coaching, and a new “AI-Powered Auto Call Scoring” that “automatically scores every call and groups results by performance tier, so managers know exactly which calls to review” (Salesloft newsroom).
  5. September 2, 2026 - the Clari brand is retired. “Salesloft is now the company and platform brand going forward.” Clari Forecast keeps the Clari name; conversation intelligence “continues as part of Salesloft” (Salesloft newsroom). As of mid-October the login for the old Copilot app still sits at copilot.clari.com under the label “Conversations” (Salesloft).

So nothing was shut off. But the thing you bought is now one module in a platform whose headline is engagement plus forecasting, and the roadmap follows the headline.

What changes for Clari Copilot customers?

On paper, not much yet. In practice, your next renewal is where the change shows up. Four things I’d get in writing before you sign anything:

  1. Your per-seat rate. Clari never published prices. Third-party guides report Copilot at roughly $60-$110 per seat per month, with the bundled Salesloft experience costing more (Revenue.io), and Vendr data cited by Claap puts a 50-user single-product deal in the mid-five figures a year with 5-8% annual escalators (Claap). Ask whether the standalone rate survives the rebrand.
  2. Which product you’re actually on. The combined company started with two conversation intelligence systems - Salesloft’s own and Copilot (Revenue.io). Ask which one you’ll be on in 12 months and whether your scorecards and call history come along.
  3. Whether you need the bundle. If you don’t run cadences in Salesloft or forecast in Clari Forecast, you’re a single-product customer inside a platform company. Fine, as long as the price stays single-product.
  4. What “scoring” means in your contract. Auto Call Scoring, as Salesloft describes it, groups calls by tier so managers know which ones to review (Salesloft newsroom). That’s triage for managers. If what you want is every rep told how well they sold, that’s a different job, and you should price it as one.

Why Elanor is the better Clari Copilot alternative for coaching reps

Real talk: if you bought Copilot for the recording, the summaries and the CRM notes, Salesloft Conversation Intelligence will do that, and so will a dozen cheaper tools. If you bought it to make your reps better at selling, here’s why I think Elanor is the better choice.

1. Scoring is the whole product, not a feature on a recorder

Salesloft’s Auto Call Scoring tells managers which calls to review. Gong’s AI scoring reads the transcript and answers the scorecard questions you write, and Gong’s own help center notes the AI “produces different outputs for identical inputs” sometimes (Gong Help Center, Gong Help Center). In both cases, scoring is a feature bolted onto a recorder.

For Elanor, scoring IS the product. She watches the full call, not just the transcript, and grades the behaviors that create or destroy revenue. We call that Revenue Behavioral Intelligence™, and you can see how it works at /how-it-works.

2. A rubric for each meeting type, built with you from your playbook

With a scorecard tool like Gong’s, you write the questions, so the scoring is only as good as your questions. With Elanor, an intro call is graded differently from a demo, and a demo differently from a close - and we build each rubric with you, from your own playbook. I’ve run and coached more than 2,500 B2B intro calls over the past decade. You don’t have to figure out the questions alone.

3. One number your whole org understands, with the receipts attached

Every call, rep, team and company gets an RBI Score - think of it as a credit score for sales conversations. It breaks down into skills and the exact timestamped moments behind them. When a rep asks why they got a 68 and not a 75, the answer is right there on the call. No black box, no “performance tier.”

4. Every rep coached on every call, within minutes - including your best ones

Managers coach the bottom of the board. Your top performers almost never get real feedback, and lack of development is one of the main reasons great reps leave. Sad but true.

Elanor coaches everyone, on every call. An hour-long call takes her roughly four minutes, and she cuts short clips of the moments that mattered before a manager would even open the recording. I ran a call recently that felt awesome. Within minutes Elanor scored it a 90 and showed me exactly what to tighten and where to take the deal. No more replaying it in my head on the drive home.

5. Nothing to rip out

Elanor joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as a notetaker, or works from the recordings you already have. Scores write back to your CRM (HubSpot is live today; see integrations). Keep running cadences in Salesloft. Keep your forecast in Clari Forecast. Reps don’t change a thing. The first new thing they see is their own coaching.

Where Salesloft still wins

I’ll say this plainly. If your SDRs live in Salesloft cadences, if your leadership runs the number out of Clari Forecast, or if you want one vendor for recording, engagement and forecasting, Salesloft is the better fit for that. Live battlecards during the call and agents that write the follow-up are real value, and Elanor doesn’t do them.

Elanor doesn’t do forecasting, deal boards, sequencing, dialing or data enrichment, and isn’t trying to. Salesloft for the pipeline, Elanor for the people. Plenty of teams will run both.

What about the other Clari Copilot alternatives?

If coaching isn’t the job, the short version as of October 2026: Gong is the biggest all-in-one option, and Info-Tech named Gong, Agentforce Sales and Avoma its 2026 Conversation Intelligence Champions on October 7 (Info-Tech via PR Newswire) - I wrote a full guide to Gong alternatives and to what Gong costs. Chorus is now sold as part of ZoomInfo’s platform. Avoma and Fireflies.ai are cheaper recording-and-notes tools that publish their pricing. All good tools. None of them are built to tell you how well your reps actually sold.

The lesson

Consolidation is great for the vendor. It’s neutral at best for the rep. Every time a coaching tool becomes a module in a revenue platform, the roadmap follows the forecast, because that’s where the renewal gets signed.

If you bought Clari Copilot to make your reps better, you have a better option now. If your reps’ calls are recorded and you’ve got a Salesloft renewal coming, reach out. We gotta chat. We’ll run Elanor on your own calls and you can compare.

Frequently asked questions

Is Clari Copilot discontinued?
Not shut off, but the name is gone. On September 2, 2026 Salesloft retired the Clari brand except for Clari Forecast, and conversation intelligence is now sold as Salesloft Conversation Intelligence. As of October 2026 the old Copilot app is still reachable as "Conversations" at copilot.clari.com.
What is Salesloft Conversation Intelligence?
It is the conversation intelligence product Salesloft launched on July 14, 2026 after merging with Clari. It records and transcribes calls, writes summaries and follow-up emails, updates the CRM, offers live coaching, and includes AI-Powered Auto Call Scoring that groups calls by performance tier so managers know which calls to review.
What is the best Clari Copilot alternative for sales coaching?
If you bought Copilot to make your reps better, Elanor Labs is built for exactly that job. It scores every recorded sales call against a rubric built for that meeting type, turns it into an RBI Score that breaks down into skills and timestamped moments, and coaches every rep within minutes of the call. Salesloft stays the better fit if you want engagement, forecasting and recording from one vendor.
Do Clari Copilot customers have to migrate to Salesloft?
As of the company's December 2025 customer FAQ, there were no current plans for required migrations and existing contracts, pricing and renewal dates were not affected. The stated long-term vision is one company, one platform, so ask your account team in writing which product you will be on after your next renewal.
How much does Clari Copilot or Salesloft Conversation Intelligence cost?
Neither Clari nor Salesloft publishes prices. As of October 2026, third-party guides report Clari Copilot at roughly $60 to $110 per seat per month, and Vendr data cited by Claap puts a 50-user single-product Clari deal in the mid-five figures per year with 5 to 8 percent annual escalators. Treat all of these as reported figures, not list prices.
Can I use Elanor Labs alongside Salesloft?
Yes. Teams keep Salesloft for cadences and Clari Forecast for the forecast, and use Elanor to score every call and coach reps. Elanor joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as a notetaker or works from recordings you already have, and writes scores back to the CRM.
